We are Stevens SAE Baja, a team that competes in SAE Collegiate Baja Design Series that is made up of Undergraduate Students at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. Our students work year round to going through the engineering design process with our main focus being designing, manufacturing, and testing an off roader vehicle from scratch. Every year we focus on designing a car that centers around having power and suspension that can widthstand an off-road track through research, testing, and learning from the performace of previous years cars.
We aim to foster a vibrant, supportive, and sustainable culture where students of all majors, years, and backgrounds have the opportunity to further personal growth and professional development.
We proudly represent Stevens on a national scale as an institution of creation, discovery, and leading-edge research that benefits society by enriching the minds of future engineers.
By providing a challenging project requiring designing, planning, and manufacturing, students are encouraged to learn how electrical and mechanical systems work outside the classroom while gaining priceless hands-on experience.
